So at first I wasn’t going to add this story. I didn’t want to because it’s already all over the internet! But I did because maybe this is the only site you’re checking. Maybe my take on the situation might be enlightening. Anyhow, it’ll be brief because theirs only a few things I want to point out.
- Maia Campbell is only one example of how drugs are killing our communities! We are, on average, staying in a continuous state of intoxication. Marijuana, alcohol, crack, etc. is killing our people!
- We have to stop this “monkey business”! Grown men and women have the maturity levels of kids in our communities. Someone has to be the voice of reason. If the father is sagging and acting a fool what chance does the kids have to be different? If the mother is clubbing and in and out of bed with men what chance does the kids have to be different?
- African American men!! Listen, we have got to STOP using our bodies as a way to intimidate our women! That is NOT ok by any means!
- Lastly, and the MOST important! a $.99 bag of chips is not a MEAL! I see this ALL THE TIME! Get yourself some food! If you are not giving your body the proper nutrition it will break down!

Does this make sense to anyone but me??

I totally agree and Im pretty sure many others do also but I personally feel talk is becoming cheap and meaningless. I see the same message you say in many places but that message never makes it to the street. I think instead of asking ourselves whats wrong we should be more concerned in whats my first step to success. It doesnt take a degree nor a jail cell to realize that what your doing is wrong.
